Our client is seeking a strategic Senior Transport Engineer to join their consultancy in Pretoria . This role is crucial for the planning, design, and implementation of sustainable transportation systems across Gauteng. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of transportation master plans and feasibility studies for road and public transit projects.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments and develop traffic management strategies.
• Design road geometric layouts, intersection improvements, and network infrastructure.
• Utilize transport modeling software to simulate traffic flow and assess network performance.
• Coordinate with municipal authorities, developers, and other consultants on transportation-related matters.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transport Engineering.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in transport planning and design .
• Proficiency in transport modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA INTERSECTION) and CAD.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and South African transport policies.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience managing project teams and client relations.
