Senior Web Developer (Full Stack)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join their dynamic and innovative team in a fully remote capacity, supporting operations in Mahikeng . This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable web applications that meet user needs and business objectives. You will work across the entire development stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using modern technologies and best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code across both front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and overall system architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers on the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development , with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby) and associated frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, Express.js, Ruby on Rails).
• Strong experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular) and back-end development.
• Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL), including performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
