About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Legal Consultant specializing in Property Law to join their practice in Vereeniging . This role requires a deep understanding of all facets of property transactions, conveyancing, and property development law. You will be responsible for advising clients on property acquisitions, sales, leasing, and resolving property-related disputes. The ideal candidate is a meticulous professional with excellent negotiation and client management skills, committed to providing expert legal guidance within the diverse economic landscape of Gauteng .

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of property transactions, including drafting and registering deeds of transfer and mortgage bonds.
• Advise clients on property acquisition, development, zoning, and leasing matters.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on property transactions.
• Resolve property-related disputes, including boundary disputes and landlord-tenant issues.
• Liaise with estate agents, financial institutions, and local authorities on behalf of clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant property legislation and regulations.
• Provide legal opinions on complex property law matters.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience focused on Property Law and Conveyancing.
• Proven expertise in handling residential and commercial property transactions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the South African Property Act, sectional title legislation, and related laws.
• Excellent drafting skills for agreements of sale, leases, and other property-related documents.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain excellent client relationships in Vereeniging .
