Supply Chain Coordinator - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and efficient Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods for their FMCG operations in Mahikeng . This role is critical in ensuring timely procurement, inventory management, and efficient distribution of products to meet market demand. You will play a key part in streamlining supply chain processes, reducing costs, and maintaining high service levels. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics operations for FMCG products .
• Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers, implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
• Process purchase orders, manage shipping documentation, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service levels.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or supplier performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Supply Chain Coordinator or in a similar logistics or inventory management role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and logistics operations within the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and other supply chain management software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities in the Mahikeng operational hub.
