About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and punctual Catering Delivery Driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of food and beverages to various event locations in and around Nelspruit . This role is essential for providing a seamless catering experience, requiring excellent driving skills and a commitment to customer service. You will be responsible for the safe transport of food, setup assistance at delivery sites, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of delivery vehicles. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the move and contributing directly to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport catering orders (food, beverages, equipment) to designated client locations accurately and on schedule.
• Ensure food is handled and transported safely, maintaining appropriate temperatures and presentation standards.
• Provide basic assistance with setup at delivery sites, such as arranging food displays and ensuring the area is ready for service.
• Inspect delivery vehicles for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and the catering team regarding delivery status and any potential issues.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a delivery or driving role, preferably within the food service or logistics industry.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., catering equipment, food containers).
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
• Good customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
