About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to lead their reception team in Port Elizabeth. This role is central to the guest experience, responsible for ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes, managing guest inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will supervise front desk staff, handle operational tasks, and coordinate with other hotel departments to guarantee seamless service delivery. This position is crucial for upholding the hotel's reputation and ensuring guest satisfaction from their first impression.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
• Supervise, train, and motivate front desk agents to provide exceptional service.
• Manage guest reservations, room assignments, and special requests.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure the accuracy of billing and cash handling procedures.
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and well-maintained.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a front desk or supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A friendly demeanor and a passion for hospitality.
• Must be based in or able to commute reliably to Port Elizabeth.
