About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Neuroscientist to join their world-class research division, operating in a remote-first capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute advanced research projects investigating neural circuits, synaptic function, and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Employ a range of techniques including electrophysiology, molecular biology, optogenetics, and advanced imaging.
• Analyze complex neuroscience datasets, utilizing statistical methods and computational tools.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to advance research goals.
• Contribute to the interpretation of results and the development of hypotheses for future studies.
• Publish research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and present at international scientific meetings.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of postdoctoral or independent research experience in neuroscience.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two core areas of neuroscience research (e.g., molecular, cellular, systems, computational).
• Proficiency with relevant experimental techniques and data analysis software.
• Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuropharmacology.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a strong publication record.
