Our client is looking for a diligent Environmental Services Technician to join their team in Tembisa . Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and common areas.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas, ensuring proper use of disinfectants and cleaning agents.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste according to established procedures.
• Respond to immediate cleaning needs and emergencies, such as spills or accidents, with promptness and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any damages or needs for replenishment.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or environmental services role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods.
