About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified Nutritionist to join their health and wellness center in Stellenbosch . You will provide evidence‑based nutritional advice and personalized dietary plans to help clients achieve their health goals, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall well‑being. This role involves conducting thorough nutritional assessments, educating clients on healthy eating habits, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to offer integrated care. You will work in a supportive environment that encourages a holistic approach to health, serving the Stellenbosch community with expert nutritional guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed nutritional assessments, including dietary intake, lifestyle, and medical history.
- Develop individualized meal plans and provide nutritional counseling tailored to client needs and goals.
- Educate clients on healthy eating principles, food choices, and portion control.
- Monitor client progress, provide ongoing support, and adjust nutritional plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent professional registration.
- Proven experience in providing nutritional counseling and developing dietary plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Knowledge of current nutritional science and public health guidelines.
