Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costing systems and ensure accurate product costing.
• Analyze variances between actual costs and standard costs, providing explanations and recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to production and operational costs.
• Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Generate reports on cost performance and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand cost drivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a focus on cost accounting.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cost accounting role.
• Proficiency in cost accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Knowledge of manufacturing or production processes is advantageous.
