Lead Data Scientist - Genomics Analysis

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated machine learning models for genomic data analysis.
• Oversee the entire data science workflow, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model evaluation and deployment in a cloud environment.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering their technical growth and project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and translate them into actionable data science strategies.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and programming languages (Python, R).
• Significant experience working with large-scale genomic datasets and relevant bioinformatics tools.
• Proven ability to manage projects, mentor teams, and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
