About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their operations in Tembisa, Gauteng . In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft components, systems, and finished products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail and deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing and maintenance processes will be crucial in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence and safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished aircraft assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to perform dimensional checks, material analysis, and functional tests.
  • Identify and document non-conformities, initiate corrective action requests, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Review and verify all required documentation, certifications, and test results to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to quality management systems like AS9100.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Aerospace Quality Inspector or in a similar quality control role within the aviation or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency with various inspection tools and techniques, including CMM, calipers, micrometers, and visual inspection methods.
  • Solid understanding of aerospace quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SACAA, FAA).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
