About the Role
Our client is looking for aspiring individuals to join their team as Apprentice Auto Electricians in Nelspruit. This program provides intensive, hands‑on training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the complex electrical systems found in modern vehicles. You will learn to work with diagnostic equipment, identify electrical faults, and perform repairs on everything from batteries and alternators to sophisticated electronic control units. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in vehicles using specialized diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty electrical components, including wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules.
- Install and service vehicle electrical accessories such as lighting, audio systems, and security devices.
- Perform maintenance on vehicle electrical systems , including batteries, alternators, and starters.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical service manuals.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent, with Mathematics and Science preferred.
- A strong interest in vehicles and automotive electrical systems.
- Good diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work meticulously and follow technical procedures accurately.
- Manual dexterity and physical fitness for working in a workshop environment.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and obtaining trade qualification.
