Senior Project Manager - Market Expansion

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead critical market expansion initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying new opportunities, developing market entry strategies, and managing the execution of expansion projects. The position offers a hybrid work model , providing flexibility for remote planning and coordination, coupled with necessary on-site travel and engagement in target markets and with internal teams. You will be responsible for driving growth, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful launches in new territories, contributing significantly to the company's global presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of market expansion projects from concept to launch, including market research and feasibility studies.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management strategies for new market entries.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, legal, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and execution.
• Manage relationships with external partners, distributors, and local stakeholders in target markets.
• Conduct regular project reviews, site visits, and stakeholder meetings, both remotely and in person.
• Monitor market performance post-launch and implement adjustments to ensure sustained success.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• PMP certification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on market expansion, international business, or new product launches.
• Experience managing projects under a hybrid work structure , including significant travel and coordination across different geographies.
• Proven track record of successfully launching products or services in new markets.
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and cross-cultural negotiation skills .
• Proficiency in market analysis tools and project management software.
