Instructional Designer - E-learning

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and technically proficient Instructional Designer to join their dynamic e-learning team in Mahikeng . This role is central to developing engaging and effective online learning experiences for a diverse audience. You will translate educational content into interactive digital formats, collaborating closely with subject matter experts and multimedia developers. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in learning technologies and design principles to create impactful educational solutions within the North West province, contributing to innovative pedagogical approaches in digital education.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging e-learning courses, modules, and training materials using a variety of instructional design models and technologies.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs, define learning objectives, and structure content effectively for online delivery.
• Create interactive learning activities, assessments, and multimedia elements (e.g., graphics, animations, videos) to enhance learner engagement.
• Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) to build and deploy e-learning content.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through learner feedback and performance data, making iterative improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instructional Designer , with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-learning projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard authoring tools and e-learning development software.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles, learning theories, and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
