AI Ethics Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics Consultant to provide expert guidance on the responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence technologies. This contractor role will involve assessing ethical risks, developing policy recommendations, and advising various teams on best practices for trustworthy AI. You will play a key role in ensuring that our client's AI initiatives align with ethical standards and societal expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ethical reviews and impact assessments of AI systems.
• Develop and refine AI ethics policies, frameworks, and guidelines tailored to client needs.
• Advise project teams on mitigating ethical risks associated with AI development and deployment.
• Research and stay updated on global trends and regulations in AI ethics.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics.
• Proven experience as an AI Ethics Consultant or in a similar role, advising on responsible AI.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their potential societal and ethical implications.
• Knowledge of relevant ethical principles, guidelines, and regulatory landscapes.
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, comfortable working in a hybrid setting.
