About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and physically fit Industrial Cleaner to maintain operational cleanliness and safety within their manufacturing plant located in Pretoria . This role is essential for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and preventing contamination that could affect production processes. You will be responsible for cleaning large-scale machinery, floors, and general areas using specialized equipment and cleaning solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of manufacturing equipment, production lines, and associated machinery.
• Clean and maintain factory floors, walls, and common areas using industrial cleaning tools and techniques.
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Properly store, handle, and dispose of chemicals and waste materials according to safety guidelines.
• Respond to spillages and emergency cleaning needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
• Familiarity with operating various types of industrial cleaning machinery.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing.
• Strong adherence to safety procedures and a proactive approach to risk management.
