Compensation and Benefits Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join their team in Randburg . This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent. You will analyze market trends, ensure compliance with regulations, and partner with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional programs. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical aptitude, a deep understanding of compensation structures and benefits administration, and a commitment to supporting the financial well being of employees within the Gauteng province.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and administer the company's compensation structure, including salary ranges, job grading, and incentive programs.
• Manage employee benefits programs, such as medical aid, retirement funds, group life cover, and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the competitiveness of compensation and benefits packages.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits.
• Administer payroll processes related to compensation changes and benefit deductions.
• Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and management on C&B related matters in Randburg .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in salary surveys and benefits benchmarking.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour law related to remuneration and benefits.
• Proficiency in HRIS and HR analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
