About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Sanitation Technician to join their operational team in Rustenburg . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of production facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas, ensuring compliance with stringent sanitation standards. Your work will directly impact product quality and safety, as well as workplace health. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a spotless environment in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of production machinery, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Mix and utilize cleaning chemicals according to safety data sheets and operational procedures.
• Conduct regular environmental monitoring and testing to ensure sanitation effectiveness.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and hygiene standards are met.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sanitation Technicianor in a food processing/manufacturing sanitation role.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing agents and their safe application.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and safety guidelines.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in varied temperature environments.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
