About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept Helpdesk Analyst to join their IT support team in Centurion, Gauteng . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's IT infrastructure by providing timely and effective technical support to all employees. You will be the first line of defense for IT-related issues, diagnosing hardware, software, and network problems and implementing solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and standard business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the IT environment.
• Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Analyst or similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting principles and concepts.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-focused attitude with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
