Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Klerksdorp . This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of properties, manage tenant relations, and maximize property value. You will be responsible for everything from rent collection and lease administration to coordinating repairs and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations in the North West province. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to both property owners and tenants. This is a hands-on role integral to the smooth functioning and profitability of the managed properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of rental properties in Klerksdorp.
• Manage tenant relations, including screening applications, preparing leases, collecting rent, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and renovations, working with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with lease agreements and safety standards.
• Develop and manage property budgets, including tracking expenses and providing financial reports to property owners.
• Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and national real estate laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of property management principles, tenant laws, and lease agreements.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective tenant and owner relations.
• Knowledge of the Klerksdorp property market and maintenance best practices is advantageous.
