About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing and Communications Officer to join their team in Upington . This role is instrumental in developing and executing marketing campaigns and communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing social media channels, and coordinating marketing initiatives to reach target audiences effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans to achieve business objectives.
• Create engaging content for various platforms, including website, social media, email newsletters, and print materials.
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence, fostering community engagement and brand interaction.
• Coordinate marketing events, campaigns, and promotional activities from conception to execution.
• Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns and communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and editing capabilities.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and digital marketing analytics.
• Experience with content creation (graphics, video editing is a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
