About the Role

Based in Soweto , you will play a vital role in assisting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the Gauteng region to achieve sustainable growth and market leadership. This role involves working closely with SME owners and management teams to develop and implement effective strategies covering market expansion, operational improvements, and financial planning. The ideal candidate is adept at understanding the unique challenges faced by SMEs and thrives in a hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of SME business models, market positions, and operational capabilities.
• Develop tailored growth strategies, including market entry plans, sales strategies, and product development roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on operational efficiency improvements and resource optimization for SMEs.
• Assist SMEs in securing funding and managing financial resources effectively.
• Facilitate workshops and provide ongoing coaching to SME leadership teams.
• Monitor the progress of implemented strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in management consulting, business development, or a similar role, with a focus on SMEs.
• Proven track record of helping SMEs develop and implement successful growth strategies.
• Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and market dynamics relevant to SMEs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
