About the Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious and creative Junior Architect to join their vibrant practice in Cape Town. You will support senior architects in the design and development of diverse architectural projects, gaining invaluable experience across all project phases. This role offers exposure to a wide range of building typologies and an opportunity to contribute fresh perspectives. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, concept sketches, and presentation materials.
- Develop detailed drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software.
- Conduct research on building materials, codes, and zoning regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors under the guidance of senior staff.
- Participate in site visits and assist in documenting site conditions and progress.
Requirements
- BArch or equivalent degree in Architecture.
- 1-3 years of relevant architectural experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of architectural principles and construction methods.
- Strong graphic and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and adapt.
