Aquatics Center Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Aquatics Center Manager to oversee their state-of-the-art facility in Vereeniging . Key Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of the aquatics center, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Develop, implement, and promote a diverse range of aquatic programs, including swimming lessons, fitness classes, and recreational activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including emergency procedures.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate aquatics staff, including lifeguards, instructors, and administrative personnel.
• Manage the facility's budget, revenue generation, and expense control effectively.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of pools, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure safety and functionality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a high-volume aquatics facility or similar recreational center.
• Strong knowledge of aquatic operations, pool chemistry, safety standards, and lifeguard management.
• Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid, and Pool Operation (e.g., NSPF) are essential.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Experience in program development, marketing, and budget management.
