About the Role

Our client seeks a highly organized and dedicated Nanny and Childcare Coordinator to manage household and childcare responsibilities for a busy family in Cape Town . This role involves providing exceptional care for children of various ages, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. You will also be responsible for coordinating children's schedules, activities, and educational engagements, liaising with schools and extracurricular providers. The ideal candidate is proactive, experienced, and possesses a deep understanding of child development, aiming to create a structured yet nurturing environment within the family home. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and engaging childcare for children, including supervision, meal preparation, and assistance with homework.
• Develop and implement stimulating age-appropriate activities, including educational games, crafts, and outings.
• Manage children's schedules, appointments, and extracurricular activities, ensuring timely arrival and participation.
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities.
• Ensure the children's living spaces are tidy, safe, and organized.
• Coordinate with external caregivers, tutors, or therapists as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a nanny, childcare provider, or similar role, with excellent references.
• Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate care practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage varying household demands effectively.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
