HVAC Installation Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified HVAC Installation Specialist to join their team serving Stellenbosch and surrounding areas. This role is crucial for ensuring clients have efficient and reliable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will be responsible for the complete installation of HVAC units, from initial assessment and system design to final testing and commissioning. The position requires a blend of on-site work and remote coordination for scheduling and follow-up. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service in a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation equipment, in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform system checks, charge refrigerant, and ensure all installations meet performance standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during installation, providing effective solutions.
• Educate clients on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installation Specialist or HVAC Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation techniques.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NATE) and licenses are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to perform on-site installations in and around Stellenbosch , with flexibility for hybrid coordination.
