Operations Manager - FMCG Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee supply chain and logistics operations for their FMCG division. This role is fully remote, requiring a leader capable of managing complex operational workflows and cross-functional teams from a distance. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, from procurement to delivery, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the end-to-end FMCG supply chain , including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on operational effectiveness to senior management.
• Implement and manage supply chain technologies and systems to improve visibility and streamline operations.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues and risks to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, specifically within the FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in managing complex supply chains, including international sourcing and distribution.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and logistics software.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing teams and operations in a remote work environment.
