You will travel to various sites to conduct inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and address any technical issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on a range of equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform necessary adjustments, calibrations, and component replacements to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory utilized.
• Respond to emergency service requests promptly and efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
• Collaborate with the internal technical support team to share insights and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a field maintenance or technical repair role, with a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a demanding schedule effectively within the Port Elizabeth region.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A relevant technical qualification or trade certification is highly desirable.
