About the Role

Our client is looking for a certified and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor and Coach to join their vibrant facility in George . This role involves designing personalized fitness plans, leading group exercise classes, and providing one-on-one coaching to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. You will be a key motivator, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere that encourages members to engage actively in their fitness journey. This position is ideal for a dedicated fitness professional committed to promoting health and well-being within the Western Cape community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fitness assessments and develop tailored exercise programs for diverse clients.
  • Lead dynamic and engaging group fitness classes, adapting to different fitness levels.
  • Provide expert guidance and motivation during one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workout environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

  • Nationally recognized fitness certification (e.g., CATHSSETA, SASP).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer.
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
  • Strong motivational and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.
