About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to lead their financial operations and strategic planning for their East London division. This role requires a proactive leader responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. You will work closely with senior management to provide critical financial insights that guide business decisions and drive profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Provide financial guidance and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Expertise in financial reporting, accounting standards (IFRS), and corporate finance principles.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and drive financial performance in a remote environment.
