About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and hands-on Agricultural Technician to support their farming operations in Mahikeng . This role involves assisting with a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation, pest control, and equipment maintenance. You will work closely with farm managers and agronomists, applying technical skills to ensure the smooth running of daily operations and contributing to the overall success of the farm. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established schedules and procedures.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery, irrigation systems, and other agricultural equipment.
• Monitor crop health and identify common pests and diseases, reporting observations to supervisors.
• Assist with soil sampling and basic laboratory analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm tools and equipment.

Requirements

• A relevant diploma or certificate in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of crop production, pest management, and soil science.
• Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment safely.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
