About the Role

Our client is seeking an adept Automation and Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Centurion . This role involves the design, development, and implementation of automated systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated solutions for manufacturing and operational processes.
• Develop control logic and software for PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics.
• Integrate new automation technologies with existing plant systems and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot projects for new automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and R&D, on automation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, systems integration, and process control.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Experience with robotic systems and motion control.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols and cybersecurity principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote tasks with on-site requirements in Centurion .
