About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Operations Planner to join their team in Nelspruit . This role is responsible for developing and managing operational schedules, resource allocation, and production plans to ensure maximum efficiency and output. You will play a critical part in coordinating various operational activities, forecasting demand, and optimizing resource utilization to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed operational schedules and production plans based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of plans.
• Monitor operational progress against plans, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, resource utilization, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in operations planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in planning software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in the Nelspruit environment.
