Key Responsibilities
- Assist certified welders in the fabrication and assembly of structural metalwork.
- Learn to interpret welding symbols and technical drawings for structural projects.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning.
- Practice and apply various welding techniques under expert supervision.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all company and industry safety protocols .
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Std 10) or equivalent education.
- A strong interest in welding and fabrication , with mechanical aptitude.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.
- Good hand-eye coordination and meticulous attention to detail.
- A commitment to completing the apprenticeship program and developing mastery in welding.
