Trade Marketing Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and creative Trade Marketing Manager to drive brand visibility and sales within the FMCG sector in Bloemfontein . This role is crucial for developing and implementing effective in-store strategies, point-of-sale materials, and promotional programs that enhance product performance and engagement at the retail level. You will work closely with sales teams and key retail partners to ensure brand objectives are met and sales targets are achieved, fostering strong partnerships and driving category growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of retail environments and a passion for creating impactful trade marketing initiatives, operating from a central office hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing plans and strategies to support sales objectives.
• Create and manage in-store promotions, merchandising programs, and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective implementation of trade strategies at the retail level.
• Analyze trade performance data, including sales volumes, market share, and ROI of promotional activities.
• Manage relationships with key retail partners, providing support and ensuring brand presence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities in trade marketing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Trade Marketing , Retail Marketing, or Brand Management within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful in-store promotions and merchandising strategies.
• Strong understanding of the retail landscape and the dynamics of trade marketing.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
