Remote Account Manager - Enterprise

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Account Manager focused on enterprise clients, to be based anywhere within South Africa . This role is critical for nurturing and expanding relationships with our most valuable clients, ensuring their continued success and satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact, understanding their business objectives, and proactively identifying opportunities to provide additional value through our client's comprehensive suite of solutions. This senior, remote-first position requires a deep understanding of enterprise client needs and a passion for building lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of large enterprise accounts, serving as the main point of contact.
• Develop deep understanding of client's business goals and challenges to align our solutions effectively.
• Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, support, product) to ensure seamless service delivery and client success.
• Negotiate contract renewals and expansions to maximize account value.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, specifically with enterprise-level clients.
• Demonstrated success in retaining and growing significant client accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and customer success principles.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and adeptness at virtual communication and collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
