Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and other environmental studies for a diverse range of projects.
• Conduct baseline studies, predict impacts, and develop robust mitigation and monitoring plans.
• Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, including EIA reports, feasibility studies, and audit findings.
• Provide expert guidance on environmental legislation, policy, and best practices.
• Mentor junior environmental scientists and contribute to business development efforts.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on EIAs.
• In-depth knowledge of South African environmental legislation and assessment processes.
• Proven experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and site investigations in various conditions.
