About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee and optimize cleaning services across multiple sites in and around Bloemfontein . This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operational efficiency while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective cleaning strategies, managing resources, and fostering a culture of excellence among cleaning staff. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of cleaning teams across various facilities, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Manage the budget for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate cleaning staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with facility management and other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and address operational needs.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in cleaning operations management, with a strong track record of leadership.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and teams effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with hybrid work models and remote team coordination is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
