Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Beauty & Makeup Artist for freelance and project-based work across Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for providing exceptional makeup application services, understanding client needs, and creating stunning looks that enhance natural beauty or fulfill specific artistic visions. We are looking for a makeup artist who is passionate about their craft, reliable, and adaptable to different working environments and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional makeup application services for clients for events, photoshoots, and personal styling.
• Conduct client consultations to determine desired looks, discuss preferences, and select appropriate products and techniques.
• Create a wide range of makeup styles, from natural and subtle to glamorous and dramatic, as per client requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked makeup kit, ensuring all products are up-to-date and hygienic.
• Stay current with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations in the beauty industry.
• Manage bookings, scheduling, and client communication effectively for contracted assignments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist with a diverse portfolio showcasing different styles.
• Expertise in various makeup application techniques and product knowledge across different skin types and tones.
• Strong understanding of color theory and facial anatomy for effective makeup application.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make clients feel comfortable and confident.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to various client locations in and around Port Elizabeth .
• Professional demeanor and commitment to punctuality and client satisfaction.
