Caregiver Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Caregiver Supervisor to oversee their caregiving team in Nelspruit . This role is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to clients in their homes and community settings. You will be responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring caregivers, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to care plans and organizational standards. This hybrid position involves both on-site supervision and administrative duties that can be performed remotely, contributing to the well-being of individuals and families in Mpumalanga .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of caregivers, providing ongoing support and performance feedback.
• Develop and manage caregiver schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all clients.
• Conduct regular client assessments and develop/update individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all caregiving policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle client and caregiver concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate client records and caregiver documentation, including performance evaluations and training logs.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) qualification, or equivalent experience in healthcare supervision.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in caregiving or home-based care, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of elder care, disability support, and relevant health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and electronic record-keeping systems.
• Ability to manage tasks both on-site and remotely, ensuring smooth operations.
