About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Online Tutor to join their innovative education team based in Cape Town . In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in providing high-level academic support to students, facilitating engaging online learning sessions, and contributing to the development of tutoring strategies. You will work closely with students across various academic levels, helping them to achieve their learning goals and fostering a positive and productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring sessions to students, adapting methods to diverse learning needs.

• Develop and refine tutoring materials, resources, and best practices for online delivery.


• Conduct regular assessments of student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant academic field (e.g., Education, Mathematics, Science, Humanities).


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching or tutoring, with a significant portion online.


• Demonstrated expertise in facilitating effective online learning environments and using virtual classroom tools.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.


• Proven ability to assess student needs and tailor support accordingly.
