About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design novel mechanical systems and components for new product development initiatives.
• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software , ensuring designs meet performance requirements.
• Build and test prototypes, iterating designs based on experimental results and feedback.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new concepts and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into larger systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and related fields.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in an R&D setting.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing) and basic lab testing.
• Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical principles and material properties.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
