Remote Supply Chain Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic team. This position is fully remote and focuses on optimizing the company's supply chain operations through in-depth data analysis, process improvement identification, and strategic planning. You will work closely with various departments to monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, expertise in supply chain management, and the ability to thrive in an independent, remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data , including demand forecasts, inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track supply chain performance.
• Collaborate remotely with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop models and scenarios to evaluate the impact of proposed changes on the supply chain.
• Assist in demand planning and inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
• Research and recommend supply chain technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and data modeling skills , with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles , logistics, and inventory management.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
