Key Responsibilities

• Undergo intensive training to achieve Air Traffic Controller (ATC) certification.
• Learn to manage and control air traffic within assigned airspace, ensuring separation standards are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with pilots via radio, providing clearances, instructions, and critical information.
• Monitor radar displays and other surveillance systems to track aircraft movements.
• Respond promptly and effectively to operational requirements and emergency situations.
• Adhere strictly to all air traffic control procedures, regulations, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• South African citizenship or valid work permit.
• Minimum of a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with strong performance in Mathematics and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination and security clearance.
• Demonstrated aptitude for spatial reasoning, multitasking, and decision-making.
• Willingness to undergo rigorous training and adhere to strict performance standards.
