Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to design and guide the implementation of their security infrastructure, operating in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure enterprise-level architectures for cloud and on-premises environments.
• Define security requirements and best practices for new systems, applications, and infrastructure deployments.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, and operations teams to integrate security into the entire system lifecycle.
• Provide expert technical guidance on cybersecurity matters and contribute to strategic security planning.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related engineering discipline; CISSP, CISM, or equivalent advanced certification required.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on security architecture and design.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing security solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of network security, data protection, identity and access management, and cryptography.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into secure technical designs.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, effective in a remote setting.
