About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and aspiring Junior Graphic Designer Apprentice to join their vibrant studio in Durban . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for design and a passion for visual communication to learn the ropes of professional graphic design. You will work closely with senior designers, contributing to a variety of projects and developing practical skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment. The role is based in our Durban office, fostering strong team collaboration and direct mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual concepts, including logos, brochures, social media graphics, and website elements.
• Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Learn and utilize design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Collaborate with the design team on brainstorming and concept development for new projects.
• Support in maintaining and organizing digital asset libraries.
• Ensure all design work is completed accurately and on time according to project briefs.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing basic design skills and creativity.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and concepts.
• Basic knowledge of design software like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
