Remote Senior HSE Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives from a remote location. This executive role requires strategic thinking and a commitment to fostering a robust safety culture across all company operations, particularly within the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs designed to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in HSE management, and the ability to effectively manage and influence teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for all employees and contractors.
• Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Manage environmental protection initiatives, including waste management and emission control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE programs.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing remote teams and utilizing remote collaboration tools effectively.
