Fitness Instructor - Gym Facility

About the Role

Our client is seeking a certified and motivating Fitness Instructor to join their popular gym facility in Vereeniging . This role is dedicated to guiding members through safe and effective exercise programs, providing personalized attention, and fostering a positive and energetic fitness environment. You will be responsible for conducting fitness assessments, designing tailored workout plans, and leading group fitness classes. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to helping clients achieve their fitness goals within the Leisure & Sports sector, creating an inspiring atmosphere for all gym-goers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial fitness assessments and develop personalized training programs for gym members.
• Lead and demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques during one-on-one training sessions and group fitness classes.
• Monitor member progress, provide encouragement, and adjust training plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
• Educate members on proper equipment usage, safety protocols, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and motivating fitness environment within the facility.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

• National certification as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in delivering personalized fitness training and leading group exercise sessions.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and exercise science.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/AED certification is mandatory.
• A genuine passion for health, fitness, and the Leisure & Sports industry.
