About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated Chemical Manufacturing Engineer to join their operations team, offering a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of chemical products at our manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with production teams on-site to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes, while also having the flexibility to manage documentation and analysis remotely. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards within the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with quality control and R&D teams to implement process improvements and new product introductions.
- Support the training and development of production personnel on new processes and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process engineering.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, unit operations, and manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate both on-site and remotely.
